Brita Purity C1100 Quell ST Filter

With a capacity of 11,500 litres for coffee and 7,906 litres for ovens, this BRITA filter decarbonises water in four steps, ensuring high-quality filtration. It operates at 2–8.6 bar and can be installed horizontally or vertically. The process includes prefiltration, ion exchange to reduce carbonate hardness, active carbon filtration for better taste and aroma, and fine filtration for small particles. The BRITA filter systematically decarbonises water in four steps:

1 Prefiltering

The prefilter collects coarse particles.

2 Reducing carbonate hardness

The ion exchanger converts Ca and Mg ions into H, preventing limescale formation.

3 Active carbon filtration

All the water – including the water in the bypass – passes through an active carbon filter, which reduces the content of substances that influence the taste and aroma.

4 Fine filtering

The final filtration process collects the remaining fine particles.
