The BRITA C150 filter is specially designed for coffee preparation in vending and espresso machines, as it removes limescale, chlorine, heavy metals and small particles from the water. With a four-stage filtration process, which includes prefiltration, hardness reduction, active carbon filtration and fine filtration, it delivers softer, cleaner water that improves the taste and aroma of beverages.

At a water hardness of 10 TH, it prefilters 1,100 litres.

This BRITA filter makes water softer in four steps:

1 Prefiltering

The prefilter collects coarse particles.

2 Reduces total hardness

The intermediate filter reduces the total hardness of the water and visibly reduces limescale deposits.

3 Active carbon filtration

All the water passes through an active carbon filter, which reduces the content of substances that impair taste and aroma.
