BRITA PURITY C500 MinUp Filter

A filter for areas with very soft water (KT ≤3°dH), which allows constant mineralisation and improves the taste of coffee. It is combined with the PURITY C Quell ST prefilter to release calcium carbonate. Filtration includes prefiltration to remove coarse particles, mineralisation to improve taste by releasing calcium, active carbon filtration to reduce substances that impair taste, and fine filtration to eliminate fine particles.

PURITY C500 MinUp – Innovative mineralisation for areas with very soft water.

The PURITY C500 MinUp filter cartridge is specially designed for areas with very soft water (carbonate hardness (CH) ≤3°dH). It is combined with the PURITY C Quell ST prefilter, which ensures a reliable release of minerals from the cartridge. This solution allows the water to be continuously mineralised by dissolving calcium to achieve the desired carbonate hardness. The result is always delicious coffee with a fully developed aroma.

Mineralisation

The PURITY C500 MinUp releases natural calcium carbonate, allowing flavours and aromas to develop.

Active carbon filtration

All the water – including the water in the bypass – passes through an active carbon filter, which reduces the content of substances that impair taste.
